## Known Issues ⚠️

Below is a list of **currently known issues** in HelloBot. These are **actively being worked on** or have **workarounds**.

### 🛠️ **General Issues**

#### **Issue: Bot does not respond to commands**

**Status:** Investigating\
**Workaround:**

* Ensure the bot has the correct permissions.
* Try **re-inviting** the bot.
* If `/help` does not work, the bot may be experiencing downtime.

#### **Issue: Some commands do not autocomplete**

**Status:** Known limitation in Discord API\
**Workaround:** Manually type out the command parameters.

### 🎶 **Voice & Music Issues**

#### **Issue: Bot disconnects randomly from voice channels**

**Status:** Being monitored\
**Workaround:** The bot may disconnect due to inactivity. Use `/join` again to reconnect.

#### **Issue: Cannot play YouTube videos**

**Status:** **Not supported**\
**Workaround:** Use a **SoundCloud link**, **Bilibili link** or **Discord-hosted audio files** instead.

### 🎉 **Fun Commands Issues**

#### **Issue: /cat, /dog, or /fox commands fail to fetch images**

**Status:** External API issue\
**Workaround:** These commands rely on third-party APIs. If they are down, wait and try again later.

### 🔨 **Moderation Issues**

#### **Issue: Cannot kick/ban users even with permissions**

**Status:** Under review\
**Workaround:** Ensure HelloBot’s role is **above** the user’s highest role in the role hierarchy.

#### **Issue: /purge does not delete some messages**

**Status:** Discord limitation\
**Workaround:** The bot **cannot delete messages older than 14 days**.

#### **Issue: /profile command takes too long to generate an image**

**Status:** Being optimized\
**Workaround:** If it takes too long, try again with a **smaller font** or **simpler profile image**.

#### **Issue: /waves and /dots commands fail with large images**

**Status:** Performance limitation\
**Workaround:** Keep dimensions under **4096x4096 pixels**.

#### **Q: What audio sources does HelloBot support?**

A: HelloBot only supports **Discord audio file links**, **SoundCloud** and **Bilibili** tracks.

#### **Q: Why can't HelloBot play music?**

A: Possible reasons:

* The bot is not in a voice channel (`/join` to add it).
* The provided link is not from a supported source.
* The bot lacks `Connect` and `Speak` permissions.

### Customization

#### **Q: Can I change the bot’s profile font?**

A: Yes! When using `/profile`, you can specify a `font_url` pointing to a `.ttf` file. This feature is currently under maintenance.

### Troubleshooting

#### **Q: The bot is not responding to my commands. What should I do?**

A: Check the following:

1. Make sure HelloBot has **the necessary permissions**.
2. Make sure HelloBot is **online**.
3. Ensure HelloBot is **not muted** or has **no role restrictions**.
4. Try **re-inviting** the bot if the issue persists.
